How This Site Works
Plainly: this site is a fence guide and a way to request an estimate. It is not a contractor.
Where requests go
Estimate requests made through this site go to a local fence contractor that serves this area and is affiliated with this site. This site is not a contractor and doesn't do fence work itself.
The contractor, not this website, gives you the estimate, and any contract for fence work is between you and the contractor.
Check the license yourself
The Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board runs an online license search. If a builder doesn't show up, the Board says to call 1-800-304-0853 to verify.[1] The Board also recommends asking to see the builder's wallet license card and requiring a written contract with the license number on it.[2]
About this site
- The cost, law and permit pages are written to be useful whether or not you request an estimate. Every number and rule links to its public source.
- We don't post reviews, testimonials or ratings here, and the photos are labeled stock images, not photos of the contractor's jobs.
- Prices on this site are national ranges. Your price comes from a written estimate after someone has seen your yard.
What happens after you reach out
- Your request goes to the contractor.
- They ask about the yard, the length, height and material, and set up a visit.
- They give you an estimate. If you go ahead, your contract is with the contractor, not with this website.
